Howdy, I'm Ricky and I make games!
I've been making games independently since 2012, most of them being fan-games. For the past 7 years, I've been working on an Undertale/Deltarune fan-project called "DONTFORGET". In my spare time, I've also been working on my own original project called "DoodleTrip"!

Party Members in DF CONNECTED v2.8.0

Howdy, everyone! This is a little showcase of the upcoming partner system overhaul for DF CONNECTED v2.8.0, which not only makes partners more interesting, but introduces significant changes to the core gameplay!
From now on, partners will be fully-fledged party members! You can have two party members alongside you on your adventure, for a complete party of three members. Every party member has their own stats, like LV, HP, ATK, DEF, and so on!
During battles, each party member gets their own turn to perform an action, just like in Deltarune. Party members can FIGHT, use MAGIC, use an ITEM, give MERCY, or DEFEND. The new MAGIC system replaces the old SKILL system, and every character has their own unique set of spells to use! Spells can do all sorts of things, like deal elemental damage, buff your party's stats, heal your party, inflict status effects, and much more!
By defeating foes with your party members, they can gain LV and raise their base stats. But party members aren't just good for dealing damage! Each party member also has the ability to use "P-Action", which allows them to assist you with ACTing, making the process of sparing and befriending monsters much faster than before!
This video only scratches the surface of what this system brings to the game. I can't wait for you to be able to experience it yourselves when DF CONNECTED v2.8.0 releases! Thank you all so much for your patience!
